Finding home in Myself

My journey in Healing, Navigating Motherhood and Cross-Cultural Marriage

Join me in my realness: life doesn't always go as planned. Taking it one day at a time really does work! Take what helps you, leave what doesn't, and know you're in a safe and non-judgemental space!

Background:

I'm a Registered Nurse who grew up in small town Northern Ontario and never felt "at home" anywhere (still don't!). After graduating university and working two years as a nurse, I decided I wanted to move to Freetown, Sierra Leone and work with an organization there. I spent 4 years there, very formative years, and met the love of my life. I'm now back in Canada navigating long-distance marriage and being a new mom. All, well healing from the things that made me run from myself. This blog will be about finding a home in myself, finding peace/calm. I'll share on topics like postpartum, intercultural topics, motherhood, and healing from trauma.
